Ashley Gudgeon

Osteopath / Running Coach

Ashley has 9 years experience in the health and fitness industry, as an Osteopath and running coach, and works mainly with individuals experiencing lower limb injuries (foot/ankle/knees and hips) as well as neck and back pain.

Ashley also provides guidance for those who require sleep modification, running assessment, rehabilitation and performance.

Outside of Southside, Ashley can be found at the track most days, where he works with sprinters from junior through to elite athletes at the business he co-founded - The Speed Project.

Outside of work, Ashley loves hanging out with his family, Lisa his wife, Lila his daughter and Kit his son, as well as Essie their adopted greyhound.

Hugh Mason

Exercise Physiologist / Strength & Conditioning Coach

Hugh has always loved sport and has been involved in football and running communities for over 15 years, and is passionate about helping people get back to doing the things they love, and living a life that isn’t limited by pain or injury.

Hugh works predominantly with sporting injuries, particularly with runners and field based athletes, as well as the management of conditions such as persistent pain, Parkinson’s disease and stroke rehabilitation.

Outside of Southside, Hugh loves staying active through running, playing football and the gym, as well as supporting the mighty Roos in the AFLW where he also works as the Rehabilitation Coordinator and Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Jeremy Duiker

Exercise Scientist / Strength & Conditioning Coach

Growing up in Gippsland, the only thing outside of farming was sport. Playing football and ultimately becoming a performance coach, Jeremy realised the importance sport plays for the community and the benefits of being active and as injury free as possible

From training the general public, to occupying S&C roles at Coburg FC (Women) and Williamstown VFLW, Jeremy enjoys fostering individual's and team's goals through transparent communication and goal setting

Away from Southside, Jeremy trains, getting stuck into books, time at the beach and with family in the country
